How do I send an email to a mobile phone?
Open your email program then send an email message by typing the mobile phone users cell phone number, followed by an @ character, followed by chikkatxt.com on the 'To' field and write your message on the 'Body' field of the email. Make sure that the cell phone number that you enter follows this format: 63918XXXXXXX, 63917XXXXXX, 63919XXXXXX, 63916XXXXXX, 63920XXXXXXX.
How do I reply to a text message on my PC?
Reply to the message received on your PC, as you would a regular email message. It's that simple!
Can I view the message even if I haven't registered with Txt2Mail?
Yes you can view the message; however, before we can send your email reply to the phone number, you need to register.
How do I register an email account for the first time?
Open your email program then send an email message by typing txt2mail@chikkatxt.com on the 'To' field. On the 'Subject' field of your email type the following: REGISTER followed by your [last name], [first name].
Please follow the command exactly. There is no need to write any message on the body portion of the email.
What do I do if I'm a registered Chikka user but didn't put in an email address or want to forward my mail to a different email address?
From your Mail Client click on "New Mail Message." In the "To" line type, "txt2mail@chikkatxt.com." In the subject line type, "ADDEMAIL your Chikka ID, your password" There is no need to write any message on the body portion of the email.
Example:
If your chikkaID is 00123456 and your password is p@ssw0rd, you would reply in the subject field with ADDEMAIL 00123456, p@ssw0rd
